You're all idiots and sheep. For details, look up those two terms in a dictionary. Most things that are "way cool" rarely "tell it like it is." I agree with the sentiment that the Republican party is corrupt due in part to its affiliation with the Christian right and big business, but to believe blindly that the Democrats are pure and have the American public's best interest at heart is simple naivete. Instead of running on the adrenaline of electing the country's first black president and letting the freeflowing emotion of the mob make your decisions for you, try thinking as individuals. Interest groups and lobbyists from all sides will be the downfall of this country. Only individuals who have the courage to exercise their rights as such in accordance with the Constitution-which slowly seems to be losing its value-have the power to stop that from happening. Attaching your ideals to a political party or a single leader is no more enlightened than blind faith in religious doctrine.

I have to add two more comments after reading the NeoCons ChristopherN79 and Inaneframe hate filled comments of stupidity. Inaneframe: As a history major it is apparently you are victims of being school children left behind and who live in fear and ignorance (A tool that the Third Reich used to dupe its citizens, not unlike the RNC/Fox is doing to you). The RNC is the party of fear – turn the lights on, read a book, understand your country a little better – Someone of less intelligence (a NeoCon perhaps) would think that the Democrats started all the wars you mention. You know, even the one where John McCain crashed his plane and lived in a box. That’s not heroism – that is survival. Congrats John – if you were a Democrat the RNC would have swiftboated you and called you a failed combatant, tortured you and charge you for the plane(s) you’ve crashed. ChritopherN79 – you’re right, far right or course. It is easy to make fun of the ignorant and this has the RNC constituents drinking the kool-aide of “anger and fear”. That someone smarter than you might want to “fix” the mess that Bush/Rove and the assassins of Democracy for the past years have made. A self proclaimed Hockey Mom for a town smaller than my football pool is not whom I want as a VP. And a ball-less McCain (made this way by Rove/Bush ’00) is a shell of the “man” he used to be. You hated McCain enough in 2000 to put monkey boy in charge – you are fair game to be ridiculed for helping support such stupidity. Period. Palin – you want to be VP, you have to stand up to the same vetting any other candidate has too. The RNC wasted 8 years trying to impeach a great President for a BJ. This current administration should be up for Treason!
