“Sure blame the designers. Somebody has never been in the theatrical keyart business.”

Where do you humorless dicks come from? Can you kill yourself?

I’ve never been in the hobo-blowing business, does that mean I can’t poke fun at those who are?

O course this skit had to use some posters that are 10-12 years old to make its point. BIG HEADS had its heyday in the mid 90’s. Still to some marketing execs-all they want people to get out of a poster is: What’s the title and who’s in it. Unfortunate, but how about the many many movie posters that are truly ART… Pans labyrinth, the dark knight, Spyderwick, the Spirit, I really could go on and on …. some campaigns are in the visual vernacular of the entire plant! You could go to Egypt and ask a person what “The Silence of the Lambs” keyart was… and they would know it.

This is a very tired and cynical diatribe of an industry and it places the blame for unfortunate cliches in the wrong place. That being said, “Righteous Kill” is an abysmally bad poster.
